Online Ergonomic Awareness Training

Welcome to the On-line Ergonomics Awareness Training for Employees in Caution Zone Jobs.

This ergonomics awareness education is required for all employees working in caution zone jobs, either determined by the Caution Zone Checklist, or if you work in one of the following departments:

FHCRC Departments
Animal Health, Mail Services, Shipping and Receiving, Facilities Engineering, and Food Services

SCCA Departments
Radiology, Infusion Services, CIL, Cytogenetics, HIM, Alliance Lab, SCCA Pharmacy, and Material Management

The Ergonomics Rule, implemented in May of 2000, basically stated that employees in Caution Zone Jobs were required to attend Ergonomics Awareness Education. In November of 2003 the rule was repealed by public vote, but the Hutch and SCCA have decided to continue to make the training required, as we feel it is important, as well as effective in increasing awareness and preventing injury.

TO RECEIVE CERTIFICATION OF TRAINING:

  1. Open and PRINT the Ergonomics Awareness Education Quiz.

  2. Open the PowerPoint File and go through the slides.

  3. Take the quiz as you go through the PowerPoint Presentation.

  4. When complete, send the quiz through interoffice mail to EH&S, mail stop J3-200.

If you have any questions, contact EH&S at 667-4866 or via email at ehs@fhcrc.org.
