The National Parks and Recreation Association is a nonprofit organization dedicated to parks, recreation, and environmental conservation. In an effort to support its employees' pursuit of recreation, the Center has compiled a list of local resources for employees and their families to utilize before or after work, or during lunch breaks. As you review the list, consider the quote from Amelia Earhart, "The effect of having other interests beyond those domestic works well. The more one does and sees and feels, the more one is able to do, and the more genuine may be one's appreciation of fundamental things like home, and love, and understanding companionship."
100 Dexter Ave. N, Seattle, WA 98109, (206) 684-4075. A premier resource for recreational information, activities and resources. http://www.cityofseattle.net/parks
